Pizza Ranch was born from a simple idea: bring bold, ranch-inspired pizza flavors to the heart of America. Founded in Independence, Missouri, we set out to create a dining destination where families could gather, enjoy handcrafted pizzas, and feel right at home.
What started as a small neighborhood pizzeria quickly grew into a beloved community staple. Our ranch pizza recipes — crafted with house-made sauces, premium toppings, and slow-proofed dough — became the talk of Independence and beyond. 2009
The First Slice
Pizza Ranch opens its doors on S Bass Pro Dr in Independence, MO. With just two ovens and a dream, founder Marcus Holt serves his first ranch pizza to a line of curious neighbors.
2011
Best Pizza in Jackson County
Just two years in, Pizza Ranch earns the "Best Pizza" award from the Jackson County Community Food Guide — putting our ranch pizza flavors on the regional map.
2013
Kitchen Expansion
Demand for our pizzaranch recipes grows beyond capacity. We triple our kitchen space, add a wood-fired oven, and introduce our signature Smoky Ranch Deep Dish.
2015
Full Menu Launch
Pizza Ranch expands beyond pizza — launching pastas, salads, appetizers, and our beloved Ranch Chicken Wings. Catering services officially begin this year.
2018
Online Ordering Launch
We bring the pizza ranch experience to your doorstep with our new online ordering platform — making it easier than ever to order your favorite ranch pizza from anywhere.
2021
